Village-Manor independent living is for seniors who are able to live on their own in an apartment or house, but who want the conveniences of living within a community that provides services and amenities such as housekeeping, social activities, dining, transportation, security, or the option of assistance with daily tasks or medical care if they need it.
What is Independent Living?
Is independent living the right choice for me or my loved one?
VM Independent Living is not an adult foster care home, nor a nursing home. Residents are expected to be in charge of themselves and be able to comprehend and follow the amenities procedures. Residents are free to come and go as if they were living in their own home.
Oftentimes a life crisis or a milestone provides the impetus to make a change. Many seniors will tell you that the passing of a spouse, not having their grown children close by, or feeling alone in an empty house is what prompted them to take action. Being healthy and active, they make up their minds that living independently is most fitting to their needs.
VM Independent Living offers a host of activities and social events. These perks make senior communities stand out above and beyond regular apartment buildings or town homes by offering more chances for socializing and improving or maintaining health. At Village Manor we pride ourselves on the affordable quality services we are able to provide. For the price, you won’t find anywhere else comparable. All our floor plans are laid out so that you have no barriers. All our apartments are ranch style and are accessible without having to use stairs. Each apartment also includes it’s own personal and private patio. Stop in today and see for yourself the beautiful living spaces we have available. Apartments are rented on a month-to-month basis.

GOLD SERVICES
Our Gold services are available with additional cost.
For our resident’s convenience we have a hair stylist who comes to the Village to do on site hair cuts. Our transportation service can also be used to take residents to their favorite salon.
High speed Wifi is provided in common areas. If residents wish to have Wifi in their apartments please inquire at the office.
Activities
At the Village Manor we provide a number of opportunities for our residents to stay active and engage with other residents. Daily activities are included with rent and gold services are available with additional cost.
Pray, learn and grow in your personal relationship with God. Our Bible studies are hosted bimonthly by volunteers.
Help reduce pain, increase energy, improve balance and boost your mood through daily movement. We offer chair exercise classes every day in the common area.
Join us for a little bit of friendly competition and a lot of laughs at our weekly BINGO games. BINGO is played 3 days a week.
Most major holidays are celebrated with a community party. We also plan summer picnics and a Casino night. Any excuse to get together and celebrate!
Singing groups and instrumentalists make an appearance at our building throughout the year for our residents to enjoy. Our staff also hosts trivia and movie nights. We typically schedule live entertainment once a month.
A time of fellowship with other residents. Drinks and snacks are provided. Social hour events are held 3 days a week.
